Richmond Professor says Good Morning Scotland!
Dr Michael F Keating took to the airwaves this weekend on BBC Radio Scotland.
With more than 60 elections due to take place across the globe in 2024, the BBC’s ‘Good Morning Scotland’ programme asked Dr Keating to comment on the impact of the elections in relation to global politics.
Dr Keating is Professor of International Political Economy and Head of Department, Social Sciences, at Richmond American University London.
As part of the item, Dr Keating was asked about the conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine and the potential impact they could have on elections and said, “We would like international affairs to impact on elections but they rarely do, it’s usually domestic policies, it’s about the economy and corruption.”
